Earning the Jeep Trail Rated badge is a special honor afforded to only the toughest, most off-road worthy vehicles in our lineup. In order to qualify, vehicles must pass off road testing administered by the Nevada Automotive Test Center that evaluates:

  • Ground Clearance – The vehicle must be able to clear obstacles without damage to the undercarriage.
  • Off-Road Articulation – When one wheel leaves the ground, the other three remain planted to keep the vehicle moving forward.
  • Water Fording – A sealed central venting system prevents the drivetrain from becoming waterlogged when the vehicle encounters water.
  • Maneuverability – A tight turning radius, responsive steering, and flexible suspension allow the vehicle to maneuver in uneven, challenging terrain.
