Introducing the Electric Jeep Wrangler 4xe
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is the PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version of the classic Jeep Wrangler. Having just released in late 2020, it’s already established itself as a landmark in electric automotive performance. Plug-in hybrids have a gas engine and an electric motor. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe will have an all-electric range, and if Carlsbad drivers need to go off-road, or you use up the charge on your electric motor, you can always switch to gas power.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe Price
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe will come in three trims with three price sets. Here’s the starting price for each configuration:
- 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe: $48,240 (MSRP)
- 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe: $51,940 (MSRP)
- 2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude 4xe: $53,815 (MSRP)
Electric Jeep Wrangler 4xe Specs
Regardless of which trim you choose, you’ll enjoy a 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo PHEV Engine that gets 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, 470 lb-ft of torque, and 375 hp. You can also expect to hit 0-60 mph in 6 seconds. Despite the model’s incredible performance specs, you’ll enjoy an electric/gas combined rating of 50 MPGe (Miles Per Gallon equivalent) with a total estimated driving range of 400 miles between charges and fill-ups. Simply put, the days of sacrificing performance for fuel economy are over.
